I was very excited to receive through the post a parcel from Giggles. Giggles for those not in the know is the hottest new interactive computer game for babies aged 6-36 months.

Who tested it? My nephew and godson Samuel, who is 10 months old.

Setup Obviously you need a computer or laptop. The pack comes with 2 CD’s, and installation is easy, just follow the on-screen instructions. Depending on the system you are using, sometimes you need to download the free updates to help install.

In use We found it very easy to use. You are safe in the knowledge that no matter what key your baby presses, your files on your computer are safe and sound. Whatever key your baby presses, they are rewarded with fabulous sounds, colours, shapes, and adorable animal characters. It also introduces mouse control at a young age and lets them develop at their own pace. Each CD includes 14 activities and over 50 songs. You can choose to use it in English or Spanish, which is an added bonus, for opening up your baby to new possibilities.

Any negatives? None, my Godson loved it and each day he loves to play on the computer with his new animal friends.

Price It’s £16.99 and is available direct from Giggles. There are 4 titles to choose from including the Animal friends (which we are reviewing), nursery rhymes, ABC’s and 123’s and the shapes and colours.

Overall My godson loved it and I am definitely adding it to my xmas pressie buying list for this year, as it is a good value gift that will give many hours of enjoyment. A great idea for a newborn alternative gift.
