Holly writes…Last week I wrote a post featuring the best baby carriers on the web for under £30. This week I have found even more budget slings and carriers, here are 5 of my favourites…
Lodger Shelter - This Lodger Shelter sling is not only a great price, at £29.99 at Baby etc. reduced from £44.99, but is also a great deal as it is two products in one. Firstly it is a fleece, hammock style sling, and secondly it is a hooded wrap to keep your baby snuggly warm in the pushchair or car seat. It is suitable as a sling for babies up to 5 months and as a wrap up to 12 months. It comes in either this gorgeous pink “Framboise” colour or a lovely soft beige “Hazelnut”.

s one from Snug Baby is gorgeous and sparkly and only £40, which is a saving of £9.50 off the original price. It is amazingly versatile, can be used to carry newborns right through to large pre-schoolers, and can be tied on your front, back or side with baby facing in or out.
MiniMonkey Sling - This MiniMonkey Hammock Style Sling £30 from Baby Bubu looks excellent. It comes in four really bright, vibrant colours, I especially love this turquoise, and can be used in a variety of ways. It can even be used as a hammock over a cot, which I think is a fab idea.
Peerie Pouch Sling - Being a pouch sling this Peerie from BrightSpark Slings is sized to fit. This lovely “Carol” fabric is only available in size one, but is just £12 reduced from £18. There are lots of different patterns and styles on their website, so there is sure to be something to fit you.
Funky Wrap Sling - This is a brilliant buy at only £20 from Funky Slings. Made from a gentle and stretchy viscose/cotton mix it’s soft and comfy for a newborn, yet strong and secure enough for a heavy toddler. It can be tied in so many different ways that it is is sure to suit any size of parent or baby in any situation.
