Featured Retailer: Windmill-Direct

This weeks featured retailer is Windmill-Direct, who aim to create a treasure trove of beautiful gifts, clothes, toys, and luxury bedding for you and your family.  They aim to dispatch your order within 24 hours of receiving it, perfect for people like myself who have a habit of leaving things to the last minute..

The lady in charge of this glorious haven is Maureen, who after the birth of her daughter Rebecca felt empowered by the whole experience decided to pursue her dream of opening up an online shop.  Having been in business now for just over a year it is a thriving one that is growing rapidly, but she is loving every minute of it even if as she says “running a shop, being a mother and a wife is a bit like spinning plates”.

The products are tested by Maureen, her dear husband Kevin and a team of Yummy Mummies and are lovingly chosen “with the hope that they will bring you a sense of joy and become part of a nostalgic moment in time”.

Maureen says “the things she likes most include (apart from family and friends) are Acqua Di Parma Iris Nobile Perfume, Green & Black´s white chocolate and Nigel Slaters Cookbooks.”

Her top 5 recommended products from Windmill-Direct for BBG readers are:

I bought the Olive & Moss Michael the Monkey Top recently for my youngest son. I am always looking for cute clothes for my little boys, that are that bit different from what’s available in the shops. Shopping for boys is that bit harder. It’s great to come across sites like Windmill-Direct and find little gems. I love this top, it’s one of those pieces of clothing that you take off before you allow them to eat their lunch! (and when they grow out of it put it away for next time, just in case!)

I could not agree more, my first two kids were boys and they are much harder to buy clothes for, and I wish sites like Windmill-Direct had been around then, thanks for stopping by, have you checked out Maureens selection of gifts on our new website http://www.thegreenfamilia.co.uk

I’ve recently had a baby boy and was given the Maileg Solder Rattle as a present from one of my friends. My son absolutely adores this - it goes everywhere with him, it’s never out his hands (at times it has been a god-send). I asked her where she bought the rattle and she told me all about Windmill Direct. Since then I’ve bought a few bits and pieces from Windmill, the products are truely gorgeous!!
