Due to the large volume of enquiries that are being received from retailers and brand owners, I feel it is important to make clear how Budget Bambino Goodies (BBG)works and I have implemented some changes to ensure that the site can operate effectively.

How do I get my store or product featured?

Until now, we have allowed retailers and brand owners to send in requests. Whilst I am not stopping it, in the interests of fairness, particularly to those who support the site with advertising, anybody who sends in a request will be added to a list which is not a guarantee of being featured. The sheer volume of enquiries that we get through means that we cannot respond personally to all requests.

But I want to be featured before I advertise!

Press coverage and advertising are two very different things and considering that we have advertising that starts at less than £40 a month, we have high response rates, and sites that are linked to by us get a an instant lift in Google etc, we have a limit to how much free advertising we are prepared to do.

I want to be added to your Favourite Store/Favourite Reading/Parenting Resources List - Can I be added?

I add what I read and where I shop and it would be misleading to readers if I were to add you so please don’t send emails asking to be added to these lists. We will be creating a stockists area soon and details will be posted soon regarding this.

Can I send you a product to be reviewed?

If you would like to send product(s) to be reviewed or find out more info, please email us brenda at bambinogoodies.co.uk. You need to state what product(s) you are looking to be reviewed and how long you can lend them to us for. Ideally product needs to be with us for a minimum of 14 days and you’re responsible for return of the product so you will need to supply paid postage. (may add a review page with full info)

Can I give you a competition prize and get details of your mailing list?

No. We don’t share our data under any circumstances.

I can’t afford to advertise - Can I give you a competition prize instead?

We have advertising to suit all budgets starting at less than £40 a month. However, if you do want to do a competition, as of 22/10/08, you need to supply a prize with a minimum value of £30. This excludes arrangements that have been made prior to this date. Since 24/10/08, competitions now generally run for a minimum of 1 week up to 1 month. Can I send press releases?

Please only send press releases to brenda at budgetbambinogoodies.co.uk unless you already have an established relationship with the site. Unless we are familiar with your site, please don’t send emails with attachments. It does help if you introduce yourself also.

I would like to work with BBG on some joint marketing activity - do you do this?

Yes we do but this is more of a recent thing and tends to be with companies that a relationship has already been established with. Email Brenda at budgetbambinogoodies.co.uk

Can we use your posts on our site?

Yes but please credit them with a link back to BBG.

Can you write an article/blog post for my site?
