There may be a credit crunch but you can still do super stylish on a budget if you know just where to look. When it comes to your baby nursery, I’m all for statement pieces that really accentuate the room and put some soul in, and it doesn’t have to be expensive.
Take this multi-tasking ‘Alphabet’ handkerchief, comforter, or in this case, wall hanging. Created by British designers Darrell Gibbs and Julia Harding of design house Sukie, they have used a simple, screen printed illustration on recycled materials and made it super useful.
It’s a great size at 50 X 50 cm and is 100% cotton and great value at £8.50 when you consider how much you can use this.
A super budget buy from the fab Little Baby Company. You can also get a butterfly version and a deer version for the same price.
To frame it as a picture without spending the earth, I’d check out Ikea.
